Puddles 水たまり

雨上がりの水たまりが好きです。

水たまりに映った空を見ると、とてつもなく深いような、足を踏み入れたら別世界に行ってしまいそうな錯覚に陥ります。

子どものころ、手鏡を天井に向けて家の中を歩き回る遊びに夢中になっていた時期があります。天井を歩いているような、宙に浮いているような不思議な感覚が面白かったのです。

一種のバーチャルリアリティのような感じです。

私の水たまり好きの感覚はその頃から変わっていないのです。

I love puddles after it rains.

When I see the sky reflected in the puddle, I feel as if I am going to another world if I step into it, as if it is incredibly deep.

When I was a child,  there was a time when I was obsessed with the game of walking around the house with a hand mirror pointed at the ceiling. I was fascinated by the strange feeling of floating in the air, as if I was walking on the ceiling.

It was like a kind of virtual reality.

My puddle-loving senses have not changed since then.
